Mike began his journey in 1982 with Gem State Mfg., where he initially built custom truck bodies and trailers. By listening to customer needs and adapting quickly, Mike developed a diverse product line that eventually grew into 80+ trailer models under the recognized TrailMax Trailers brand. His trailers became industry staples, trusted by the construction, agriculture, government, and rental sectors for their strength and durability.
Over the years, Mike has successfully navigated both industry highs and economic challenges, always focusing on quality and continuous improvement. From expanding his facilities to developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), he built his companies with resilience and a dedication to excellence. Today, as the founder of VersaMax, Mike combines his deep industry knowledge with a commitment to creating durable, high-performance trailers designed to meet the demands of modern industries.
